Distillerie de la Tour: Specialist in Winemaking & Distillation

Since 1989, Distillerie de la Tour is the unique operator working the complete range of the Charentes viticultural production: from wines to wine eau-de-vie, brandy, cognac and vodka..

 

We run four production plants in the heart of the Cognac vineyard. Our longstanding relationships with over 3 000 winegrowers in France and Europe attest to our ability to deliver high quantities as well as outstanding quality of wines and spirits.

 

With 46 million liters storage capacity in stainless steel tanks and 7 million liters storage capacity in oak barrels, we have the potential to offer a wide range of wines and spirits with exceptional aromatic richness.

 

Our aim is to satisfy our customers’ demands and to guarantee food safety of all of our production. That is why Distillerie de la Tour has developed a clear and well-structured Quality Policy.



HISTORY:

1989
Creation of Distillerie de la Tour in Pons (Charentes region).
1997
Installation of Grape Must Concentration Unit.
1998
Installation of Distillation Columns Unit (30 000 lts of pure alcohol/day).
1999
Installation of Rectification Columns Unit (30 000 lts of pure alcohol/day).
2000
Development of Wine Activity in Jonzac (Charente-Maritime).
2001
Acquisition of a Distillery at Domaine du Chillot in Laruscade (Bordeaux region).
2005
Establishment of Quality Management & Setting Up of Traceability Procedures.
2008
ISO 9001 Certification.
2009
Acquisition of Pressing Room in Pons.
Acquisition of an Ageing Cellar of 2 000 000 lts in Merpins (Charentes region).
2012
ISO 14001 Certification.
2013
Acquisition of Fermentation Unit in Angeac-Champagne (Charentes region).
2014
Construction of two Ageing Cellars of 1 000 000 lts in Pons (Charente-Maritime).
2015
ISO 22 000 certification achieved
